anyone here from US want to help me out with something?

I'm restoring an antique radio and it took me a long time to track down a place which stocks antique grill cloth which matches my radio. Only problem is that the company seems to only want to ship to America and Canada. Since I'm an Aussie, I can't order it directly. Is anyone willing to let me use their postage address and then forward the package on to me when it arrives? it's 68 x 46 centimetres, and should weigh next to nothing. Of course, I'll pay for the postage the Aussieland.

Sounds like a cool project. Can't imagine how difficult it would be to track something like that down!

awesome, thanks for that del3d, I'll flick you an email when I get the chance, then I'll post some pictures of the project. Basically I bought a nice old radio from an antique store for $160. So far, I've sanded back the wood and put a new finish on it and polished the brass fittings, Next I've got to repair the actual radio electronics and install an iPhone dock so I can play music through the old valve amp.

Down the track I'll be looking for an old gramophone to put on top. The idea originally was to replace the broken 7inch speaker in the radio cabinet with a new one and install a 2 or 3inch tweeter in the gramophone horn, but if I can get a working record player, that would be nice too. I'd rather not damage any of the original parts, rather have the option to restore its original function if needed.

hi mate, I didn't get your email. for some reason my PayPal account has been limited, I had to email off some paperwork today to get it sorted out, sorry for keeping you out of the loop. Also, it looks like this place only takes postage cheques. it looks like it can be done electronically, but its a pain. They seems legit enough.

"We accept Money Orders, Postal Money orders, Your banks auto bill pay check service, Bank or Cashiers Checks, Personal checks
Money Orders, Postal Money orders, Your banks auto bill pay check service, Bank or Cashiers Check payments are shipped---->Right Away !! ** U.S. Mail payment only takes 2-3 days to arrive.
(Personal checks require a 7 business day hold, for clearing.)

PS--If payment is something you want to do online electronically,
Your Banks Auto Bill Pay Check Service is the best bet"

once my PayPal account is sorted out ( should be by monday) would you be ok with me sending the full amount to you and you relaying the payment? I'm sorry this whole thing is a pain
