hello guys, im on vacation now, after being working for almost 11 months on an animated film. i was inspired by the transformers post, and decided to model texture and rig optimus prime, i will give it alittle twist from the movie, the truck will be more "modern looking" . my plan is to model with crazy detail, i heard the movie version is composed of 108,000 pieces, i will try to reach that same detail, of course yi will use symetry so that cuts the pieces to half and i will model basic shapes so i can convert them into variations very easy :P. i think i can get all the modeling done in 3 weeks working 24-7 just for the fun of it, and i will animate it with mocap, we have a facility in our office . here is the model of the truck i will be using as a refference fromhttp://onephotography.ning.com/photo/optimus-prime-of-transformers?context=latest

thanks for the observations, i will keep some parts the same as the truck in the movie, like the gas tanks and some ther stuffs. here is another update.
