Brute Force Passes (Vray Rendering)
show user profile  disposable_aladdin
Hello - I've received a scene that I want to render partially using brute force. When it renders, brute force does lots of passes... I'm used to it doing one (and the additional passes make no difference!). Where do I set the number of forces for brute force, or how is it determined!?

Thanks.

Sounds like progressive rather than bucket sampler. It will keep doing passes until noise threshold is reached

brute force should only be one pass, if rendering in buckets. As nemac suggested, you probably have your sampler set to progressive.
