Hello people of earth. I decided to create a video tutorial on modeling a head based of a referance. (3dsk). Now I'm going to asume you know max well enuf to follow along, if not sorry. If you guys need the face referances I have on there, let me know ill upload those images too.
In this video tutorial you will see that I am only modelling the mouth at the moment. I am gunna model the face into sections so that you can focus on one part. In the end I will bring it all together as a one happy family :D
Mabe once everything is complete and depending on my time.. I'll make a unwrapping tutorial, again depends on the timelife from the suns ahead us.

Very cool, not all that different from how I do it but I did learn quite a bit of cool little things. I do hope you post the entire head modelling process and I'm much looking forward to seeing that (well maybe just the laying out the basic topo and not all the tweaking, that would take hours) !!
Interesting set of tuts your building by the way. What do you use to create these with ?

How did you download it K'tonne? Similar program that rips the movies from youtube? Or have I completely missed something obvious?

Nice tut! The vid stopped at 9 minutes for me as well.
MDB, you can use a scripted primitive called "TubeCap" to eliminate some of your early steps, I use it constantly at work and at home...a great time saver. I have it hosted on my site in the Tutorials/phone tutorial section if you are interested.

there's a download option to the right of the video displaying and you can get it from there
as it's all downloaded through veoh's software so you'll most likely have to join- or maybe you knew this and i got lucky with the download or mdb just uploaded an improved version or something
