can i ask what is the average time frame to complete a typical professional interior from a semi pro to a complete pro? i know it depends on the amount of work involved but i am just after after some rough examples.

cheers

building the geometry or doing the interior design?

we hire an interior designer to select furniture from catalogs, typically they will be able to select the furniture for 4-5 rooms in a 8 hour day based on the brief.

building the furniture based on the interior design should be able 1-3 days depending on difficulty of furniture for each room. 1 for simple geometry, 3 for something intricate. Then it all comes down to the critique, more time = better quality always of course.

just building/texturing/lighting/post production ect. i am completely useless at being an interior designer when it comes to picturing the design but if the designer tells me what they want then its much easier for me. at the moment i look at interiors on the net and copy of that and then just change some designs but i have never been in a job doing this so i just want to prepare myself now that i have completed my honours degree.
