MENTAL RAY SSS Shader - flicker when rendered via Backburner
We bought a nice teeth model.
The teeth use the mentalRay SSS shader.
When rendered locally, it looks fine.
When we render it via Backburner, IT FLICKERS. but the interesting thing is that only 2 teeth flicker while the rest are fine.
We checked and they have the exact same material but only slightly different maps.
Any idea how to fix a net render flicker for the Mental ray SSS material ???

Perhaps it's not necessarily connected to the SSS shader? I've had problems with Backburner rendering things differently, and there were no SSS materials involved. Unfortunately I can't remember the source of the problem, but maybe if you look for it in a less specific way, you might stumble across something sooner?

I had problems like that before as well.
This time its definitely connected to the SSS shader.
If we replace it with a regular shader it works fine.

we gave up on the SSS shader and its fine now.
