Morpher Modify
show user profile  HG
Hi everyone.
Can I morph just a selected faces region ? or is this morph for all the object only.

My problem is that I modeled a human and I did a lot of face expression. Now I want to change the body of my character. I need the morph just for head. But it didn't work. :(
Any help please ?
tnx in advance

You can't delete poly's and expect the morpher to work, the vertex count/order is what drives it. To do what you want will require you to hide poly's. It's a hack, but it'll work.

hi Herfst1
and tnx for your reply .
I don't want to delete anything. I just want to reshape it. I mean move the vertieses. make some changes in the legs and arms. that is all. but I have already created a lot of instances for face expression. and I want to do this changes just once on my original character and the morph must ignore the body and just do the head. is that possible ? if not I have an alternative. I can detach the head as a separate object . and morph the head separate and have the whole body as a single object and then I can do anything with the body. and it will not effect the head anymore. But I want to first see if I can do it in the right way.

Ah, I see. Well, if you're able to combine two versions of your model, one with the head only (and the rest hidden) and another version decapitated (i.e. hidden head), then you can get around this issue.

Morph Toolkit, Attach-O-Matic lets you keep your meshes individual stacks, so you can separate your head and body morphs.

Not sure if it's possible to do this manually (plugin free) in Max without some arse over tit workflow.

You can use poly select with some soft selection before the morpher.
This way you can control which parts you want to change with the morpher.

Combine might be useful:
