| This might be a very stupid question, but why has my cursor changed orientation? |
CAD Monkey |
Hi guys,
I hope that this will be stupidly simple to fix:
I have been working on a staircase model and pretty-much randomly the orientation of my cursor seems to have changed, meaning that I can't move vertices around as I would like. Can anyone tell me what I have done to cause this, and most importantly, how to change it back please?
Thanks in advance as always,
Stewart

check to see if the reference coordinate system is set to local. You may want it set to world

Hah! What a stupid question! ;)
Semi-on topic here though, I was working away in Max as usual today and my RCS (That's Reference Coordinate System for the cool cats) seemed to have set itself to local twice. Mind you... I do model like a madman so I wouldn't put it past myself to accidentally select this option with a swift mouse movement... I'm like lightning..
