Vray Material ID "border"
show user profile  9krausec
Hey all!

Got a question for you Vray users out there.. I have a material ID assigned to all my materials in a scene to be able to separate the shadows from a product.

Here are my three passes and what I get when I use the material ID pass (set to render with AA). So why am I getting this boarder around my object? Shouldn't things be perfectly aligned?

Using the material ID to separate the shadows in the alpha... :(

Any ideas? these are 3k renders. High enough resolution. I don't think I would need to choke the matte. Seems like doing so SHOULD be unnecessary and there should be some solution to have this fixed right out of render. Thanks!
